Just a short notice to let everyone know I'll be reading in Brooklyn on Friday, Oct. 24.
I will be joined by Craig Clevenger, author of The Contortionist's Handbook, which was described by Fight Club author Chuck Palahniuk as "the best novel I've read in five, maybe ten years." (See details below.)
Also, if anyone can get their hands on an October issue of Playgirl, I would be extremely grateful. Apparently, they ran a review of my book but for some reason, you can't actually buy the October issue in October. You have to purchase it in September, which requires far too much planning for someone with my limited organizational abilities.

DIRECTIONS: The closest subway stop is Hoyt / Schermerhorn; take the A, C, or G there, go out the Bond Street exit, walk one block down Bond from Schermerhorn, and the store is on the northeast corner at the intersection with State Street, on your left.
Alternately, take the F train to Bergen; walk a couple blocks east from Smith to Bond Street; make a left toward Atlantic Avenue; cross Atlantic, and Shortwave is one block up on your right.
